Good morning, everybody,

This morning a spammer called "GooDFriend" managed to get through the forum's anti-spam features, and send private messages to several members. The message contains a warning that your computer may be at risk, and provides a link to an outside anti-virus website. DO NOT CLICK ON THIS LINK, as the website may contain viruses. Simply delete the message, and all will be well.

The IP address of the "member" has been banned, and the account disabled. Big thanks to those who reported the details of the messages, as I didn't receive it myself, and wouldn't have known about it otherwise.

There has been a report of a PM from a username called "trueladyadmin." I have not received this one, but if this message is similar to the other two that have been reported, do not click on any link contained in the message.

Once again, any message claiming to be from an admin, but which does not come from "Phineus" or "bingster," is fake, and should be reported and deleted.

Be on the lookout for private messages from either "LadyrootFiX" or "ModernLadyX," as both have been reported as having sent spam messages.
